Named by historian მალხაზ ჩოხარაძე among clerics who fought muhajir emigration (distinct from Loman Kartsivadze). Perhaps a different man: Akhvlediani 1944 (vol. 1 p. 11, quoted by K. Baratashvili 1997) lists ჰაჯი ლომან ეფენდი ბერიძე of ზენდიდი, dated 1830, among the few sheikh-ul-islams of the Georgian Muslims. A man active by 1830 is unlikely to be the anti-muhajir cleric of 1878: either a namesake or Chokharadze's dating is loose
