Head of the Upper-Adjara district of Batumi oblast (Chichinadze); an ალექსანდრე ბერიძე was Khulo district head in Sakhokia's day. Chichinadze 1913, p. 177, as quoted by Khalvashi 2024 (seta.bsu.edu.ge), calls him head of Lower Adjara („ქვედა აჭარის უფროსმა“), while this note has Upper Adjara; the 1913 page is still to be read, and the field stays as it is until then

    "Here are the ruins of two churches, on which a peasant has made a straw barn: a month ago, in this village, the head of Lower Adjara, the respected Giorgi Aleksandres dze Beridze, found a large dressed stone with a khutsuri inscription. The inscriptions have been copied and the stone is kept" (Chichinadze 1913: 177).
