წლის წინ. ამ ხალხის ნათესავები დღესაც ცხოვრობენ გეგე-
ლიძეებში და სანიკიძეებად იწერებიან. ზედაყანაში მოსელამ-
დე ბერიძეებიც სანიკიძეები ყოფილან, თუმცა აქ მოსვლის
შემდეგ გეარი გადაუკეთებიათ, როგორც ჩანს, ამის მიზეზი
ჰქონდათ.
rendering, not the wording of the record
The Beridzes came from the village of Gegelidzeebi about 150 years ago. Relatives of these people still live in Gegelidzeebi today and are written down as Sanikidzes. Before coming to Zedayani the Beridzes too were Sanikidzes, but after coming here they changed the surname; evidently they had a reason for it.
