In Zhanivri live: the Melikadzes, Kiladzes, Beridzes, Takidzes, Katamadzes, Leominadzes. There is no information at all about the arrival of the Melikadzes. They are considered the age-old inhabitants of this village. Their ancestor was the village priest. By the time Islam spread, this family had moved to Akhaltsikhe. One part stayed in Adigeni and later came back again, returning to the old hearth, while the other part settled in Naghvarevi and was written down under the Beridze surname.
