The founding of two villages of the Chvani valley, Khabelashvilebi and Brili, is tied to the name of a certain Khabulia Beridze, who was by origin from Nabeghlavi. Khabulia first settled in Khabelashvilebi; he had nine sons. When the Turks came into the village and demanded that Khabulia's family change its faith, five of his sons fled the village in secret and settled in Ozurgeti (in the village of Vakijvari)
