According to the Beridzes living today in the village of Partskhisi in Meskheti (Akhaltsikhe district), they came there from the Aspindza district. At first, in the 1873 census, they were recorded as Beridzesshvilis, while in the 1886 census they appear as Beridzes. The Beridzes living there were divided into two branches: the Beridzianis and the Adolaanis (Adolashvilis). From 1843 both Beridzes and Beridzeshvilis lived in the village of Bogvi.
