In the Principality of Guria the Beridze princely domain (satavado) comprised 6 villages and up to eighty serfs (qmebi). The serfs of Prince (tavadi) Beridze were the Bolkvadzes, Chkhartishvilis, Dolidzes and Kunchulias. The Beridzes had a family castle, which presumably stood in Dzimiti.

Vakhushti's sentence is A. Two ruins at Zeda Dzimiti are candidates: heritage 16793 (castle ruin on a hill by the river) and 21048 (ნაციხარი on the highest point of Chitia mountain). Neither registry card names the Beridzes, so the localisation stays open between them (Takaishvili via Wikipedia, B). Delisle's map was never viewed by us (C); a minority view puts the castle at ბუკისციხე.
