Born Poti 1 Aug. 1949; graduated in medicine from the Leningrad I. P. Pavlov First Medical Institute in 1972; district therapist at Tbilisi polyclinic No. 26 1972–78; junior researcher in the endocrinology department of the Georgian SSR health ministry's research institute of therapy 1978–86; senior researcher in the metabolism department of the cardiology institute from 1986. Endocrinologist, candidate of medical sciences (thesis defended 1985 on insulin, glucose, free fatty acid and triglyceride levels in different types of obesity); author of 30 papers. The ka.wikipedia lead spells the surname ბერაძე, but the article title, its sort key and its source, the NPLG biography 00002618, all give ბერიძე. Split 2026-09-29 from REPORT §8.4 row 21
