Born Tbilisi 26 Aug. 1933; candidate of architecture (1973); chief architect of the Georgian education ministry design bureau 1974–89. Built works include an experimental frame house in Tbilisi (1973), the Georgian secondary school at Bichvinta (1977), a school at Khertvisi (1985) and a boarding school for hearing-impaired children in Tbilisi (1984; USSR Council of Ministers prize 1987). sweep 2 m351
