Named in a report of the Adjara Union of Militant Godless (Adjara archive, fond 1547, file 162, p. 15) as an ekimbashi (folk healer) of Keda who put a medicine on the hand of Suleiman Nakashidze at the village of Akho; the hand was poisoned, prayers did not help, and it was ruined (passage a-514). The report is quoted in an article on the anti-religious campaign that dates the surrounding material to 1937; the file itself is not dated in the article, so the year is approximate. sweep 3 A archive.gov.ge
