Grigol (Grisha) Beridze received his higher education at the University of Yuryev (Tartu) in finance and economics; in 1918-1921 he took an active part in state and commercial affairs and was entrusted with acting as authorised representative of the company "Cosmos Trading Co. Limited" in Istanbul, the Caucasus, Turkestan and Persia.
