In Gogasheni lived a brave man, Beridze Aziza, "Lekoant Azizai, Simizara's uncle". It was this Aziza whom the Tatars of Dankali had written down first on the list of those to be punished. The Tatars came in, and Aziza laid a table for them. The commander of the detachment turned out to be an acquaintance of Aziza; they had worked together in Ardahan, he had been the head of the prison and Aziza an overseer.
