ბიქტორ ბერიძე წლების მანძილზე გორის სასულიერო სასწავლებელში პედაგოგად მუშაობდა. 1912 წელს გურია-სამეგრელოს ეპისკოპოსმა ლეონიდემ (ოქროპირიძე) დიაკვნად აკურთხა, ამავე წელს მღვდლად დაასხა ხელი და ალავერდის წმინდა გიორგის ტაძარში განამწესა. 1913 წელს ალავერდის ოლქის მთავარხუცესად აირჩიეს.

Biktor Beridze worked for years as a teacher at the Gori theological school. In 1912 Bishop Leonide (Okropiridze) of Guria-Samegrelo ordained him deacon, in the same year ordained him priest, and assigned him to the St Giorgi cathedral of Alaverdi. In 1913 he was elected senior priest (mtavarkhutsesi) of the Alaverdi district.
