The present-day Beridzes living in the village of Partskhisi suppose that they came here from the Aspindza district. At first, in the 1873 census, they were recorded as Beridzesshvilis, while in the 1886 census they are mentioned as Beridzes. The Beridzes living here were divided into two branches: the Beridzianis proper and the Adolaanis (Adolashvilis). From 1843 both Beridzes and Beridzeshvilis lived in the village of Bogvi.
