Chairman of the Varjanisi kolkhoz from Dec. 1939; in Jan. 1943 gave 50,000 roubles for the tank column „საქართველოს კოლმეურნე" and received Stalin's thanks (საბჭოთა აჭარა, 18 Apr. 1943, No. 84); acting chairman of the Zvare village soviet 1945; named with his patronymic in 1945, 1949, 1955 and 1959; chaired the merged Varjanisi and Tsoniarisi kolkhoz from 1950 until 1969 (Abashidze 2017)

განსაკუთრებული აღიარება მოჰყვა პირადად ვარჯანისის კოლმეურნეობის თავმჯდომარის ჯელილ ბერიძის წვლილს, რომელმაც ამ სატანკო კოლონის ასაგებად 50000 მანეთი შეიტანა, რისთვისაც ი.ბ. სტალინის მადლობა დაიმსახურა.
