Aleksandre Beridze

ალექსანდრე ბერიძე

Private, rifleman of the 23rd mechanised brigade, awarded the medal for combat merit posthumously in the list following Head of State decree No. 63 of 31 May 1993 (Defence Ministry servicemen). The record stands on the Georgian decree text of mematiane.ge alone (the line is in the vols 1-6 page, not the vol. 1 page); no birth date or village is given. The Russian lists of apsnyteka.org may name the same man: Беридзе Александр Ермилович of the III battalion, 23rd brigade, killed 16 March 1993 (passage a-511). The brigade matches but the decree gives no patronymic, so the identity is unproven and the passage is not linked. sweep 3 A mematiane.ge
