Hybrid (Georgian-Turkish double) surnames:

Beridze-Akhmedoghli,

Beridze-Dautoghli,

Beridze-Khasanoghli,

Tsenteradze-Memedoghli, which marks a transitional stage in the return of native surnames.

The emergence of such models lays the ground for giving Turkish surnames a new function, that of a branch name (shtogvari) (which we will discuss in more detail later): thus the Beridzes stress that their surname divides into three branches: the Dautoghlis, the Khasanoghlis and the Akhmedoghlis
