On 8 September, on the basis of this agreement, by decree of the Revolutionary Committee (revkomi) of the Georgian SSR, the Revolutionary Committee of the Adjarian ASSR was created and given the powers of the supreme authority of the Adjarian ASSR. Its members were:

from the Adjarian Mejlis: Hasan Lortkipanidze, Zia Khazari and Memed Kontselidze;

from the Committee of the Poor: Jemal Paghava, Zekeria Lortkipanidze and Hasan Beridze;
