ვახტანგ ბერიძე ხულოს მერად 2018 წელს დაინიშნა მას შემდეგ, რაც მოქმედი მერი გოჩა მელაძე თანამდებობიდან გაათავისუფლეს. ბერიძე ხულოს მერად მეორე ვადით იყო არჩეული. პირველად 2019 წლის რიგგარეშე არჩევნებზე, მეორედ კი თვითმმართველობის არჩევნებში 2021 წელს გახდა ხულოს მუნიციპალიტეტის ხელმძღვანელი.

Vakhtang Beridze was appointed mayor of Khulo in 2018 after the sitting mayor Gocha Meladze was dismissed. Beridze was elected mayor of Khulo for a second term. He became head of Khulo municipality the first time at the 2019 extraordinary elections, and the second time at the 2021 local self-government elections.
